A little about us…
First of all, my name is Shanna (like banana)!!! It’s an easy name to confuse and I just want to set the record straight from the get-go! Jonathan and I have been married for seven years. We have three furry children who rule the roost around the Burgess household – Macey, Dixie, and Cricket. They’re basically the cutest dogs on the planet and if you come by the store you will see them featured in different layouts and projects. Jonathan is from Murray and his family owns Murray Home & Auto. He spends the majority of his time there during the day.
I am originally
from Mayfield, but I consider Murray my home as I have been here since
college! I have a degree in education and taught for a few years in
Graves County before obtaining a job at Murray State University where I
work full-time for an educational grant program that is funded through
the US Department of Education. I have worked at MSU for the same
amount of time that I have been married!!
How we came about owning a scrapbook store….
I have been a customer of Remember When since back in the day (we’re talking original store days). When I heard the news that the store might be closing – I couldn’t bear the thought! I went home and asked Jonathan how he felt about owning a scrapbook store, and well… the rest is history!
I have been a long time scrapbooker (oddly enough… I have no books of my own to speak of) and paper crafter. I would have to confess that my first love is card making with scrapbooking taking a close second. Owning a scrapbook store is my dream job come true!! How often do people actually get to do what they LOVE to do? I feel so blessed!
My most favorite part of owing the store (besides all the goodies/paper/accessories- I can’t lie!!) is the customers! I have really enjoyed getting to know all the people who shop at RWS! If you haven’t yet, please introduce yourself to me when you are in the store!

Pam has been with Remember When for as long as we can remember! (No pun intended!) She loves the Quickutz Revolution, just ask her about it!
Katie
I started scrapbooking in 2001 at the tender age of 12 after discovering Remember When during their grand opening. Later, I worked at the store as part of a school-to-work program. I always said I'd work here for real someday! For now, I work on Saturdays because I am a full-time student at Murray State, but I'm anxious to spend more time at the store during the holidays and over the summer! I'm a sucker for anything polka-dotted and I am in love with the new Tres-Jolie line!

Hello! My name is Darlene and I am relatively new to Remember When--as a worker. The cash register is not my best friend yet (it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks). But I am totally addicted to scrapbooking. I am even beginning to make cards. At the store, every day is like Christmas to me--with new papers and supplies arriving daily. The store has all you need to get started preserving your photographs and memories for future generations--including friendly, helpful staff. Come in and look around! It's great fun!!

Hi, I'm Jennifer. I'm a newbie (a recently married one..YAY!) here at Remember When and the whole scrapbooking thing is relatively new to me,although I have really enjoyed it so far. I naturally like crafty things, so this isn't totally a stretch for me. I've learned a lot in the short time I've been working here and found that scrapbooking is not that hard; all it takes is a little bit of time and creativity. Just about anyone can scrapbook. I have to say one of my favorite designers right now is Tres Jolie; the pastels mixed with darker shades here and there along with their patterns are very nice. But, I'm not "stuck" on just one designer, I like whatever catches my eye. Our atmosphere at Remember When is really great, even better it's fun. We're always ready to help-from ideas to how to use the products.
